Tara and corey’s bunbury wedding

It’s hard to believe as we swelter amidst this heat wave that it actually rained during the photo shoot in Boyanup on Tara and Corey’s wedding day. Even though the sun disappeared we were lucky to have a country and western star in Corey who lit up the day for his girl and the enthusiastic bridal party. Corey has released an album and is currently performing in Tamworth, here is Corey’s face book page so you can check his music out https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=552732563 . Stay tuned we will post a slide show with Corey’s single as the sound track very soon. Steve Lloyd-Smith and Steph Lloyd-Smith of Lloyd-Smith Photography

Bec and Brad’s Queensland wedding

We first met Bec when we went to have our eyes checked, so the old eyesight must have been pretty good when this terrific optometrist booked us to photograph her and Brad’s wedding in Airlie Beach. Bec and Brad are a wonderful couple with great families who made us feel very much at home during our stay. Airlie beach is the gateway to the Whitsunday Islands and the Great Barrier Reef so we were looking forward to white sandy beaches, blue skies and that beautiful clear ocean. Unfortunately we awoke to rain and a pea soup grey day! But we took full advantage of the soft light and spent a sensational day with great people and ending up with pics we were very happy with.

Nadia and Dave’s Busselton Wedding

The sun shone and the flies came out to play as did everyone who attended Dave and Nadia’s wedding festivities. Busselton is a long way way from Port Hedland where Nadia and Dave now call home but as we Southerners know there is no better place than the SW of WA to celebrate your wedding. Nadia dressed at Abbey Beach Resort and speaking of dresses Nadia wore a bridal gown from Tuscany Bride – but check out the pics of Nadia’s shoes, I don’t think they cam from a bridal boutique:)We then headed to the lovely grounds of Wonnerup House for the ceremony before it was off for the photo shoot and back to The Goose Restaurant for a magnificent meal. If you are looking at locations for your honeymoon here’s a few of the amazing locations Dave and Nadia visited on theirs (lucky buggers!!) Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Columbia, Spain, France, Switzerland, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Jordan, Egypt and Hong Kong. All pics by Steve and Steph Lloyd-Smith – Lloyd-Smith Photography.

Helen and Clints’ margaret river wedding

It was a beautiful sunny morning on the beach when we photographed Helen and Clints’ pre wedding portrait. Clint is very used to early morning starts when he is up and at em training the next thorough bred champion at the Price stables.

Aravina Estate was the stunning location for their ceremony and reception. The girls started the wedding day with a yoga session at 6.30am (no wonder they look so good!) and then it was hair and makeup time back at Seclusions of Yallingup. Helen hand made her veil, millinery is a hobby of hers and she wore her grandmothers necklace that dates back to the 19th century. We loved sharing their special day and had plenty of laughs through out the photo shoot.

Karen and Sean’s Bunbury Wedding

Sean is a die hard Saint Kilda supporter so say no more – he is a legend!!! We spent a great day with Karen and Sean shooting in and around Bunbury and had plenty of fun and laughs with the gang and ended up at the wonderful Sanctuary Golf Resort where they held their reception. Being a tragic St Kilda supporter myself  I thought it was a fantastic idea having famous Saints players designating each table. Here is a selection of page layouts from their wedding album:)Steve and Steph.
